Why do I have to complete my Expanded Use enrollment before withdrawing funds from my PayPal account to my Australian, Austrian, Belgian, Canadian, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Hong Kong, Italian, Korean, Mexican, Japanese, Dutch, New Zealand, Norwegian, Singaporean, Spanish, Swiss, Taiwanese, or United Kingdom bank account?
Because PayPal is unable to verify non-U.S. bank accounts,
we ask our members outside of the U.S. to complete their Expanded Use enrollment
to increase the security of our payment network.
Can the
Expanded Use Enrollment Process be expedited?
When a credit card is added to your account, you may be
required to complete the Expanded Use Enrollment Process in which PayPal charges
your credit card $1.95 USD . The charge will accompany a unique, randomly
generated 4-digit Expanded Use Number.
If you have online access to your
credit card account, check your statement online after 3-4 business days to view
the Expanded Use Number
If you do not have online access or if your credit
card issuer does not supply the Expanded Use Number online, you will need to
wait for your credit card statement to view the Expanded Use Number

transaction environment
